Why are mass media important to you?

Mass media is important because it connects you with the world.. without the news, you wouldn't know about stuff everywhere else in the world. Without facebook, you wouldn't be able to talk to people that you knew like 10 years ago! life would be dull :( hahah. If I didn't have my baby (blackberry), I wouldn't be able to call AND text at the same time! :O
